DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) SAP team seeking a Worldwide Sales Operations Program Manager to assist in planning, analyzing, operationally executing and reporting the business. The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, has strong financial acumen and a deep analytic background to assist the AWS WW Sales team in meeting its objectives. The position is responsible for both creating efficiencies, developing strategies for continuous go to market planning improvements, as well as assessing business performance, and supporting the SAP Sales organization with driving operational efficiencies.

The position will also assist the WW SAP focused sales overlay managers in evaluating and forecasting attainment against quotas, utilizing various CRM tools to derive well-vetted analysis, and other ad-hoc requests and analysis as needed.

This individual will need to collaborate effectively with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to solve problems, implement new reporting and planning solutions, and deliver successfully against high standards. A successful individual is a person that has a proven work ethic that drives the desired results, and has experience in sales or sales operations. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up the sleeves”.

This position will work with the several stakeholders supporting the extended AWS SAP organization, such as Business Development, Marketing, Professional Services, and the Partner team. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Directly support the WW SAP Sales lead in all facets of planning, tracking, reporting and analysis.
· Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of sales planning support systems and processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and its revenue attainment and market development objectives.
· Lead quota planning, headcount/new markets planning, and executing initiatives for the WW sales overlay organization.
· Manage the development of continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, own the quantitative analysis of the performance of our sales team, customers, prospects, partners, markets, and products/services for the SAP team.
· Identify trends, provides insight into the performance of the business and recommends corrective actions.
· Validate the correct reporting of the SAP business on salesfoce.com and works close with the Sales Operations team to create mechanisms to reflect the state of the business.
· Manage the bi-weekly cadenced business reporting for the sales overlay team.
· Develop relationships and processes with sales, finance, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address reporting issues.
· Assist the AWS SAP team sales leaders in all aspects of operational performance.
· Identify operational issues, gaps in processes and systems, and drive timely resolution.
· Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years leading sales planning, sales systems/tools, or a sales operations team supporting a mid-to-large scale multi-geographical hi-tech sales organization.
· Experience in multiple organizational functions such as planning, forecasting, organizational development, systems implementations, etc.
· Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales operations processes, procedures and policies.
· Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
· Financial, analytical and communication skills.
· Experience with SalesForce.com required.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required (extensive knowledge of Excel required).
· Cross group collaboration skills.
· Bachelor’s degree is required.
