AWS' growth is driving a rapid expansion of its world-wide sales team and the need for a developer to join the Global Business Operation's Professional Services team. As the Salesforce Technical Architect you will own and execute delivery initiatives globally to build scale, efficiency, and a great customer experience. You will be completely responsible for the design, engineering, testing, release, and support of the features you build. This includes development, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration with other Amazon databases/systems.

The successful candidate will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving abilities. They will deal with highly ambiguous problems, take responsibility for finding solutions, and will drive towards simple solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
· Apex and JavaScript development, building custom user interfaces, and other tasks in order to create customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
· Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
· Translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs
· Work closely with the Salesforce Program Managers for understanding the functional and system requirements

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related experience
· 3+ years previous development experience with Salesforce.com
· Demonstrated understanding of and experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API
· Proven experience writing Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Apex classes and triggers
· Ability to design, code, test, debug, and maintain software applications
· Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
· Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
