Amazon Care’s mission is to invent and simplify solutions and bring the future to patients. We are seeking a talented Recruiting Manager with strong people development skills. This Recruiting Manager will manage a group of technical and non-technical recruiting team and partner closely with business leadership to build and execute against Talent Acquisition strategies to deliver the necessary talent to support our increasing demand.

This role is highly impactful – you will work closely with business leaders, product managers, clinicians, engineering, operations, and executive teams to hire the best talent. Successful candidates will draw on their extensive knowledge of talent acquisition in the healthcare industry, functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners. This leader must be self-driven, who can develop compelling experiences communicate clearly with data, prioritize effectively, and have a consistent track record of delivery. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-obsessed, team-oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The candidate will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The right candidate must be able to effectively provide thought leadership, set benchmarks, analyze data/metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs.

Core Responsibilities:
· Drive sourcing capability and capacity across a geographically dispersed team within North America to proactively build diverse technical and non-technical candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite the recruitment of market-leading healthcare talent for Amazon.
· Work closely with business leaders to influence and deliver quality assessment and high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
· Inform teams on sourcing best practices in healthcare and to help those team deliver the right results for the business to achieve their talent demand goals each year.
· Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Finance, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners) to determine future talent needs and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels (both domestic US and internationally) where we can find the best, diverse healthcare talent.
· Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing recruiting staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
· Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.
· Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Organized and pragmatic; thrives in a results oriented environment
· Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI
· Workforce planning experience
· Experience in a start up or entrepreneurial work environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience utilizing data and analytical skills to create, measure, and scale workflows to achieve accelerated hiring goals
· A proven track record of influencing senior leaders on recruiting strategies
· Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years of experience leading a recruiting team of 6 or more recruiters
· 8+ years of experience in recruiting
· 3+ years recent recruiting leadership experience defining and delivering complex recruiting strategies in the healthcare industry
· Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets
· Experience utilizing metrics and data to drive decision-making
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree
