The AmazonUI is a frontend framework which provides consistent and modern set of common controls to build user experience of Amazon.com

As a QA team, we ensure that Amazon shoppers enjoy a delightful shopping experience when discovering and purchasing a product or service on any platform – browsers, mobile apps, tablets – you name it. The biggest challenge we face is to certify and release the changes related to user experience at Amazon's scale without breaking the experience. The QAE like you with their innovative solutions, automation and testing skills enable us to face this challenge.

As a QAE in AmazonUI team, you will represent the Amazon shoppers and you will have the opportunity to influence the UX of Amazon shopping site. You will own and drive the quality of UX components, use the automation and setup processes/mechanisms to pace up our ability to deliver UX innovations to our customers. Your decisions and actions will impact the user experience of millions of shoppers who visit Amazon shopping site daily across the globe. There are very few places where you can have this much customer and business impact. You will be part of a team consisting of talented SDETs, SDEs and QAEs who will further push you to learn and grow technically and professionally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in app/device testing.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience working closely with development and partner teams to communicate the problem impacts
· Strong knowledge of QA methodology and automation tools, with demonstrated QA experience in QAE role
· Strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously
· Creativity and initiative to improve test coverage, effectiveness and test process.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar technical education.
· 1+ years of experience in creating and implementing test plans.
· 1+ years of experience in manual as well automated test execution.
· 1+ years of experience in debugging, problem isolation and writing bug reports.
· 1+ years of experience with at-least one programming/scripting language such as Java, JavaScript or Python etc.
