Position Overview
Print Operations Quality Area Manager is responsible for successfully overseeing the execution of the Quality and Training Programs. Primary responsibilities include cultivating a positive work environment, development of Quality Specialists, development of Trainers and Training Specialists, policy and process compliance, dissemination of relevant company information to Associates, and achieving key performance metric requirements.
Job Responsibilities
· Owns Quality for entire site, impacting functional and technology areas (such as the “Pancake” print management software)
· Leads team of Quality Specialists and Trainers
· Owns execution of product and process audits and test new process and/or products.
· Clarifies audit requirements and defines audit strategy to improve quality metrics results
· Owns execution of training program for entire site
· Utilizes training best practices and expertise to improve quality standards
· Monitor and maintain quality metric requirement through product quality audits
· Ensure compliance with product and process audit best practices
· Develop and implement process improvements
· Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment through training and process audit results
· Monitor and maintain productivity requirements ensuring efficient execution across all processes
· Communicate expectations to Associates; plan, monitor, appraise, and review performance
· Communicate training & quality requirements/expectations to shift leadership
· Train new and current Associates on production procedures
· Maintain production metrics accurately and consistently; productivity, quality, safety, training, etc.
· Maintain supply levels required throughout shift
· Troubleshoot opportunities through to resolution, escalating to manager as needed
· Partner with Safety to implement and execute safety programs

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience
· 2+ year of management/supervisory experience
· Flexible to work across shifts and schedules, as needed
· Ability to stand for 10 or more hours per day
· Ability to lift 40 lbs and push utility carts of up to 60 lbs
