Goodreads is seeking a QA Engineer to work on our mobile apps on behalf of millions of customers, ensuring that our mobile apps meet the high quality standards. Goodreads QA Engineers are responsible to test code at the user level, both manually and with automated tools by using black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques. They work closely with Product Management, User Experience Design and Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation to develop test plans and test suites. They are also responsible for driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field.
· Minimum of 1+ years of software testing experience.
· Fluency in at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java or Python
