This is high visible and exciting opportunity in Amazon where you will be working closely with Product management, Engineering and testing team and create business impact.
· As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will test and deliver new technologies which support Amazon's Digital Music efforts.
· You will own features that will improve quality across Music clients - Echo, Kindle, IOS, Android, Web, Desktop and Third party clients.
· By participating in design and specification reviews, you will design, develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases, including delegating work to others and reporting consolidated test results to the SCRUM development team and management.
· You will ensure comprehensive test coverage by engaging with the product business team to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results. Overall, you will promote QA productivity through effective test planning and test strategies.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
· 3+ years' experience in creating and implementing test plans
· Experience with testing methodologies and techniques
· Testing background in Linux environment
· Programming experience in Java and SQL
· Scripting experience in one or more of the following: Perl/Ruby/Python/Shell scripts
· Experience in UI testing and agile software development methodologies
