DESCRIPTION

What is the role?
You will join a global team of engineers and program managers and be responsible for payment processing integrations with the world's largest payment processors, banks, and networks. You'll ensure that Amazon's online transactions and back-end settlement, refunds, and disbursements are processed seamlessly with the external partners. You will support Amazon businesses, partner with engineers and business operations internally, and deal directly with our external payment partners on a regular basis. You will bridge the gap between engineers and business operations to effectively use internal support tools to solve complex production problems with significant financial impact. You will play a critical role to enable Amazon Payments Service continuing scalability by raising the bar of our external partners quality, availability, and efficiency.

We'll trust you to: ·
· Troubleshoot production issues which involve external partners and drive the issues to closure.
· Effectively use internal support tools to identify root cause and take corrective actions.
· Build business operation metrics to identify trends and areas for improvements
· Manage external partners on end-point change, key rotation, UAT testing and production release
· Continue to develop your knowledge of partner specification and payments industry to identify system issues and propose product improvements and help improve efficiencies
· Work closely with support engineers, business operations, and product development

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external audience
· Excellent problem solving skills and deep-dive abilities including trouble-shooting production issues or identifying potential risks
· Minimum 1-year experience in supporting or operating large-scale systems integrating with many external partners
· Consistent track record of delivering large-scale integration projects with multiple vendors
· Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in demanding situations and meet deadlines
· Effectively working in a cross-functional environment with technical, business operations, and product management teams
· Bachelor degree required
