DESCRIPTION

Amazon has a unique opportunity for a highly intelligent, self-motivated, and creative public relations professional to join our PR team in Seattle. As a PR Specialist for Amazon Echo, you will work with the Amazon Alexa PR team and key business leaders to imagine, develop and execute communications programs related to Echo devices.

· Act as PR business partner to the device leadership teams
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive successful product launches and reviews
· Work cross-functionally to drive proactive coverage for Echo
· Manage product reviewers program
· Write press releases; pitch and secure top media, including print, broadcast and online outlets
· Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media
· Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· 5+ years public relations experience
· 3+ years' PR experience in technology and/or consumer electronics devices
· Experience executing product reviews programs
· Experience executing press tours and large-scale events
· Excellent written and verbal communication
