DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a strong, data-minded Customer Insights Analyst to join the Prime Now team supporting Whole Foods Market grocery delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of use cases for this recently-launched service, and learning what drives customer adoption and engagement. You will be responsible for making strategic and tactical recommendations based on top-line performance analysis, customer-level and order-level deep dives and segmentation analysis, including analyzing the overlap between our own business and other related offerings. The role will be highly cross-functional, and will involve working with teams across marketing, business, finance, and external partners in order to implement your recommended strategies. This is a highly visible role with direct, ongoing impact to the Whole Foods business on Prime Now.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable driving complex analysis. He/she can quickly understand our key growth drivers, and think broadly and strategically about customer, business, and operational implications in order to identify key opportunities. The role will involve a wide range of problem-solving situations, and will require the ability to form strong recommendations supported by robust data analysis.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a recently-launched service which is highly visible to customers and leadership, and will require a significant amount of autonomy and “thinking big”. You will be part of a high-functioning, fast-moving team responsible for delivering on strategic goals with direct impact for our customers.

Responsibilities include:
· Develop and improve reporting tools across a broad range of metrics (relating to customer adoption and engagement, among other factors).
· Partner with marketing, operations, and finance to analyze historical data and make recommendations in relation to marketing strategies.
· Manage the analyses of daily, weekly, and monthly performance via Key Performance Indicators.
· Develop think-big ideas in relation to this recently-launched customer offering.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, statistics or related field preferred.
· 2-4 years' experience in marketing analysis or a similar field (including proven comprehension of demand generation/growth drivers and customer-level analysis).
· Advanced proficiency in Excel or similar analytical tools.
· Strong bias for action: ability to work successfully in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
· Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with functional teams across the organization.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to structure data analysis to support business objectives.
· Enthusiasm for developing new ideas and creative solutions.
