Want to experience a fast growing business at Amazon? Interested in an internship in marketing for Amazon Pay in the heart of Europe? Come join our marketing communications team and help define the course of Amazon Pay on social media. Amazon Pay provides consumers and merchants with a simple and trusted way to pay and get paid online through multiple access channels. We aim to deliver an engaging experience, and we like to have fun on our site and on social. We are seeking a self-directed social media expert to develop and implement our social media strategy to drive awareness & engagement with our target audiences. Own management, measurement, execution and action plans of Amazon Pay's social media marketing. Work at the strategic level to champion new, innovative ideas, and at the tactical level to execute plans, and iterate based on performance metrics. Lead the development of social media content & campaigns for organic media. Be clever, silly, and embrace the absurdity of modern social media.

You should possess a strong awareness of social media tactics and strategies – including organic and paid social media, influencers, community, and video. You're passionate about social media with proven experience using it to increase brand engagement and reach. You have excellent judgment, unwavering attention to detail, and great written and verbal skills.

You will help execute projects and continuously improve processes related to content creation and communication. A successful candidate will need to think and act strategically and tactically. He or she will be creative, analytical, customer centric, resourceful, team oriented, an effective communicator, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines. You will focus on ensuring all social media campaigns are executed flawlessly and on time. You will also be working with our external agencies and internal designers to develop new materials and creatives as well as ensure that the Amazon Pay's style guidelines are met.

We will also look for you to analyze the metrics to ensure the work is effective, evaluating what levers we have to influence greater sales and conversion.

· Key responsibilities:
· End to end ownership of Pay's social channels across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram from concept, execution and post-implementation analysis.
· Aide in the development of our social strategy as it relates to messaging, engagement, and content performance and make recommendations to scale to other relevant social media channels as appropriate
· Build out content plans and calendars for assigned handles.
· Find new and exciting ways to engage candidates via social media channels to drive awareness, conversion and new customers.
· Help guide micro-content such as social graphics, visual development, animated GIFs, and short-form video.
· Track performance of social media campaigns, content, and overall health of the assigned social handles with regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
· Strong bias for action to drive results and/or improvement plans based on key performance and customer insights.
· Follow and take action on industry trends specific to B2B on social media.
· Ensure consistent brand positioning and tone of voice across all social media channels.
· Develop social media best practices and toolkits to be shared with cross-functional teams.
· Write short-form copy pieces (200 words) with a high degree of conceptual creativity and verbal polish.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in an applicable discipline such as Business or Marketing.
· Experience in consumer or B2B oriented social media marketing.
· Hands on experience with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
· Understanding of social media platforms including analytics.
· Ability to think big and propose innovative strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

- German language proficiency will be an added advantage.
