DESCRIPTION

The IOQ & Reliability Engineer supports Amazon RME team in the development and testing of Robotics/Mechatronics systems, Packaging Automation, Autonomous Vehicles and Sortation systems. This position requires the ability to innovate, analyze, plan, organize, implement, and manage process and reliability improvement projects to maximize safe, economical, and effective use of materials, energy, and people. Identify, evaluate and analyze new technology failure modes to drive better equipment uptime, lower repair costs, and lower material inventory levels/costs. Leverage network and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) subject matter experts to develop reliability efforts through enhanced communication and best practice sharing. Analyze equipment downtime data and develop & manage processes that will drive OEM uptime and lower costs. Analyze operational data and equipment performance history to deliver improvements in critical maintenance related metrics / KPI's. Develop maintenance benchmarking data / KPI's in order to drive improvements among like sites in the NAFC network and other similar corporate entities

Profil recherché

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any field), Operations, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience providing technical support to field maintenance teams
· 3+ years of experience in the job offered or related occupation of Reliability Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or related discipline
· Hands-on experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance, use of CMMS, & preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
· Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Power Point
· Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
