The Amazon Fashion Discovery team is growing a multi-disciplinary team to address these customer needs through a new custom shopping experience. Our goal is create a fun and engaging experience that enables us to learn about our customers, produce personalized recommendations of products they will love, and make the online fashion shopping experience simple and easy.

Our technical challenges involve a combination of back-end software engineering, user interface development, and applied science. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences and will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. You will work effectively across different teams and functions, and be responsible for innovative products and programs that will introduce elevated browse and search experience for Fashion customers.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
· 3+ years working with mobile app & web development.
· 3+ years working with React, HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general Web 2.0 techniques
· Experience with usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, and HTML document architectures
· Proficiency in CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and complexity
· Knowledge of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
· Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
· Experience collaborating with product, and non-technical partners
