Amazon is seeking a Financial Analyst to help own critical functions within the rapidly growing Last Mile org within operations.

This Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for decision support, financial modeling, and controllership for Fleet Programs and Value Added Services for Amazon's Last Mile. This person will partner with multiple stakeholders around the world to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to this high-growth organization. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various transportation, product, tech, and finance teams to identify achieve cost reduction targets and improve quality while scaling our Last Mile capabilities in the US and abroad. The Financial Analyst II will provide controllership and analysis for weekly and monthly processes and reviews and will support ad-hoc analysis to support real-time decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Expertise in collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful analyses to lead business improvement and cost reductions
• Develop and maintain key reporting metrics and build forecast models

• Partner across Operations, Product, and Tech teams to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance
• Drive variance analysis against budgets, identify risks and opportunities
• Ensure timely and accurate metrics and forecasts are created and maintained

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar degree
• 3 years of experience in a large corporate finance environment with emphasis on analytics
