About the Product IT/Dev Ops Intern position:
The Product IT/Dev Ops Intern will be responsible for working on research and development projects that will help drive the future technical direction of the team. You will be working directly with experienced Systems Development Engineers and will learn skills that will help jumpstart your career in Systems Development and DevOps

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will be a high-energy, detail-oriented Software or Computer Engineering major with the desire to learn how a systems development engineering team, with a focus on automating information technology lifecycle management, operates in a rapidly growing high-tech software company. The attributes of the successful candidate are described here:
· Strong understanding of Python and using RESTful APIs
· Experience with RedHat and/or Ubuntu Linux
· Experience with network infrastructure concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, rsync, and PXE boot
· Ability to work collaboratively and without direct reporting authority; must be a team player but work well independently.
· Ability to interact and communicate effectively with both technical and business staff.
· Knowledge of different process methodologies and their practical application.
· Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity and dedication to getting results.
· Professional demeanor with the desire and ability to take ownership of work.
