DESCRIPTION

This role can be located in Cork or other EU locations including Barcelona, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Paris.

The Deal Operations Specialist acts as the primary interface between Amazon and our business partners in the context of Deals and Coupons and as owner of Deals and Coupons operational tasks. The Deal Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing timely and accurate operational support to Merchants selling on the Amazon platform and to the Deals and Coupons Account and Product Management team. The successful candidate has an immediate, distinct effect on the experience of customers when purchasing Deals and Coupons on Amazon, making a strong record of customer focus a high standard for the role. A Deal Operations Specialist is expected to address chronic system issues, provide process improvements, develop internal documentation, and contribute to a team environment, all while adhering to SOPs and SLAs for the assigned tasks covering mass communication, contact handling, Deal/Coupons Quality monitoring and Deal uploads.

Role and responsibilities
This includes, but is not limited to:
· The Deals Operations Specialist provides outstanding support to SPs, guiding them through the resolution of issues/inquires related to Deals by adhering to the provided SOPs and SLAs.
· troubleshoots issues and support SPs, Product Managers and Account Managers in creating Deals.
· Educates SPs on Deals and Coupons Features and on how to participate in daily Promotions as well as Promotions events.
· Owns mass communication execution based on the SOPs provided including handling communication databases, translating blurbs and setting up and sending the communication through the designed mass communication tool.
· Owns daily Quality Control of Deals according to the SOPs provided and solves/escalates issues as appropriate.
· Owns Deal creation based on AM/PMs specifications and leveraging the tools and SOPs provided.
· Owns merchandising operations for high visibility Deals based on AM/PMs specifications and leveraging the tools and SOPs provided.
· Demonstrates effective, clear and professional written and oral communication and is able to accurately translate from English in other languages mastered.
· Demonstrates high attention to detail in the execution of the assigned tasks.
· Demonstrates excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while using departmental resources, policies and procedures.
· Actively seeks solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation skills and identifies trends to appropriate channel including improvement suggestions.
· Liaise with Account Managers, Program Managers as required to resolve Seller's issues and questions.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Education: Bachelor Degree in any discipline with 0-4 years of experience preferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English and a German
· The job might require occasionally shifts over the weekend or early/late shifts
· Advanced Excel skills including vlookups are essential to the role
· Paradot Training preferred
