Amazon is seeking a Critical Asset Program Manager for our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. The Critical Assets Program Manager will be a member of the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering network leadership team and has full accountability & ownership of North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) critical pieces of equipment. This position is responsible for developing and leading the reliability process in a manner that will have a direct impact on equipment uptime, efficiency, quality, safety, customer satisfaction, innovation, and ultimately profitability. Key activities for this position include developing and driving maintenance reliability practices that will focus on building a world class proactive maintenance program . The Program Manager will work to enhance our maintenance capabilities to deliver improved equipment reliability, decrease unscheduled repair and maintenance time, and develop strategies to drive lower maintenance costs. This role will work closely with our enterprise asset management (EAM) team, will support our entire NACF network and will have a strong focus on our core principles of innovation, bias for action, and ownership.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Owner for critical pieces of equipment for reliability and performance
· Develop standards for the network on equipment settings and performance
· Develop standards for Preventative Maintenance plans and site reporting
· Partner with the audit teams to develop audits for critical pieces of equipment to monitor site PM quality
· Partner with the training department to develop training program for the network technicians for the critical pieces of equipment
· Develop critical auditing documents for launch IOQ team to eliminate defects during launch of a site
· Develop key metrics to monitor performance and proactive tools to identify issues / defects
· Develop maintenance bench-marking data / KPI's in order to drive improvements among like sites in the network
· Identify reliability and process improvement projects to improve performance
· Partner with nodal and site reliability engineers to execute reliability and process improvement projects
· Work closely with OEMs to eliminate failure modes and defects from the system
· Develop reliability efforts through enhanced communication and best practice sharing

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any field), Operations, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university or 1+ years Amazon experience providing technical support to field maintenance teams
· 2+ years of experience in the job offered or related occupation of Reliability Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or related discipline
· Working knowledge of diverse MHS and OEM's
· Willing to travel at least 50% of the time across all time zones in North America
