Copywriter & Content Manager

DESCRIPTION

Shopbop | East Dane is looking for a creative, innovative and organized copywriter to craft homepage, email, and other editorial, marketing and social copy. The copywriter will collaborate with the Shopbop and East Dane brand marketing team, fashion office, buyers, and the social and creative teams to conceive and execute our brand stories across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities
• Write copy for website and additional marketing collateral, including homepage stories, emails, mastheads, mailers, and promotions.
• Work with the Shopbop & East Dane editors, writers, and marketing partners to brainstorm and execute narrative direction for editorial features, videos, and various marketing initiatives.
• Partner with marketing and social media leads to help manage editorial and social calendars for East Dane.
• Maintain strong up-to-date knowledge of the fashion and style landscape, including brands, trends, tastemakers, and influencers.
• Maintain and develop Shopbop & East Dane brand voices by creating authoritative and accessible copy.
• Work with the social team to brainstorm and execute special projects and campaigns.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
· 3+ years of experience in a copywriting, editing, in fashion and/or lifestyle industries
· 3+ years of professional experience writing for and/or managing social media channels
· 3+ years of exposure to fashion and shopping lexicon for menswear and womenswear - shown through applied writing and copyediting experience
· 2+ years experience with MS Office, specifically in MS Excel
