Amazon is looking for an analytical, driven, and creative thinker to join the ACES Finance team that will support Amazon's ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) organization. The ACES team owns identifying and driving strategic initiatives focused on improving and optimizing processes within operations. You will be a part of the finance support team that helps financially validate all these projects.

We are looking for someone to own, maintain and enhance an internal website and all of the backend forecasting logic.

This role requires an individual with a strong passion for forecasting and web development. You will be responsible for the improvements and ownership of an internal website all FC operators use on a daily basis to track progress, determine success and plan for the future within the Quality space. The successful candidate will have a strong mathematical background, love problem-solving, be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities include:
· Develop new and innovative forecasting techniques to best model the ambiguity of Quality.
· Be the point of contact and source of truth for the models integrity and answer questions about how the forecast works.
· Analyze relevant business information, and uncover trends and correlations to develop insights that can materially improve metric targets for cost initiatives.
· Use machine learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new, scalable solutions for business problems
· Create new data pipelines for model accuracy enhancements.
· Troubleshoot data integrity issues.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

*Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering or related discipline is required.

*High mathematical aptitude.
*Experience scripting in Python.
*Experience with frontend development.
*Proven analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
*Excellent working knowledge of large data manipulation and data mining using complex SQL.
*Financial Modeling and forecasting experience.
*Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses.
