Amazon Video is fast becoming one of the major global players in digital entertainment. We are changing the way millions of customers enjoy movies and TV shows through Amazon Prime, new releases for rent or purchase, and subscriptions through Amazon Channels. Amazon Video is seeking a highly analytical, curious, resourceful, and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to develop and invent systems to scale our Digital Video business globally.
The BIE will be part of the finance FP&A team, responsible for developing and operating analytical pipelines for WW Amazon Video reporting. In this role you will:
· Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for business intelligence analytics in support of Amazon Video Business
· Implement data structures using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and SQL, Oracle, Redshift, and visualization tools such as Tableau
· Participate in the full development life cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery, support, and maintenance.
· Collaborate with data scientists and business intelligence peers on data pipeline design
· Evaluate and make decisions around dataset implementations designed and proposed by peer data engineers.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
· 3+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology, as well as experience in diving deep on data analysis or technical issues to come up with effective solutions
· Experience in data mining structured and unstructured data (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets
· Experience in Tableau including advanced dash boarding
· Proven ability to look at solutions in unconventional ways. Sees opportunities to innovate and can lead the way
· Highly adaptable with proven ability to quickly learn and utilize different technologies
· Proven communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
