AWS' growth is driving a rapid expansion of its world-wide customer-facing teams (including Sales, Marketing, and Support) with a need for an experienced Salesforce Manager to help lead the next phase of our growth and expansion. This will include the team being responsible for managing an ever-growing internal user base of the thousands of users who leverage Salesforce to manage the customer interactions they're responsible for managing on behalf of the millions of customers who trust their cloud services needs to AWS. This new Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the Salesforce Administration team continues to grow, scale, and develop to best support the Salesforce administration and configuration needs of our users, and establishing a strategy to enable our team to scale with the growth of the AWS business. This candidate will be an integral part of the AWS Salesforce Management team, and will be actively involved in numerous initiatives and projects which will accelerate our team's ability to best leverage our usage of Salesforce at AWS.

The candidate will have excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex technical requirements in a clear and easy to understand way for business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will deal with highly ambiguous problems, take full ownership and responsibility to find solutions, and drive towards innovative and simple solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage the rapidly growing AWS Salesforce Administration team who are responsible and own addressing all user needs and requests of the system.
· Seek out ways to improve how we administer all incoming Salesforce user requests, and evolve both the level and depth of Salesforce configuration expertise our team is capable of delivering.
· Design a path for Administrators to continuously improve their technical Salesforce skills through trainings, mentorship, and stretch goals.
· Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements and scale the AWS Salesforce team for future growth.
· Create and improve on metrics and build upon KPI's in place to document and track the effectiveness of the AWS Salesforce Administration team documenting the work managed through this team.
· Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they relate to Salesforce
· Partner with business stakeholders and Project Managers to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that solve AWS Business needs.
· Develop and mentor other Salesforce team members.
· Own and deliver new process updates and projects, including ideation, requirement gathering, technical planning, building, review, testing, and success tracking.
· Partner with technical resources to create and update existing technical documentation of new and updated processes within Salesforce.
· Maintain and improve the AWS Salesforce Admin process to track and schedule all work using Kanban and agile methodologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree
· 3+ years managing and leading Support/Operational teams
· 5+ years Salesforce.com Admin/Configuration experience
· Certified Salesforce.com Salesforce Administrator or other equivalent qualification
· Understanding of and experience working with enterprise level Salesforce architecture.
· Understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce.com CRM application coupled with good understanding of standard business processes (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
· Business analysis and functional understanding, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users.
· Technical project management experience
· Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
· Verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
