Amazon is looking for a Sr. Applied Scientist with a focus on computer vision to join an exciting new project team working to build a completely new best in class consumer product. As a founding member of the team, you will work alongside product management, research, design, and engineering to define and build the essential lovable product. You will be responsible for developing complete deep-learning vision models to deliver critical product functionality. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Ph.D in Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Math, Statistics or related fields with specialization in Computer Vision, Image recognition, robotics, machine learning, or deep learning
· 3+ years of Theory and practice of designing experiments and statistical analysis of results
· Skills with Java, C++, or other programming language, as well as with R, MATLAB, Python or similar scripting language
