The Amazon EU Device team is looking for an enthusiastic Intern to support our business.

Overview:
We are looking for a smart, results-oriented Data Engineer Intern to assist and drive device related projects for EU. A successful candidate will be analytical, customer-centric, resourceful, team oriented, an effective communicator, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines.

This is a six month internship opportunity. Amazon does not support work permits for this internship.

Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development of new data tables in support of upcoming dashboards and deep-dive analyses.
· Perform quality control checks on existing data tables and downstream dashboards.
· Automate any remaining manual reports and data pulls.
· Enrich existing tables with new data where needed.
· Automate any Web scraping-type task that is currently performed manually.
· Enhance our documentation with any other useful information.
· Build strong internal relationships across Amazon.

Structured goals along with a Learning & Development plan will be provided during the internship, along with a selected Buddy and a Mentor to provide support.
At the end of the internship, peer and manager input feed into a formal internship review process.
This role presents an excellent chance for learning and developing analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled in an educational program at bachelor or master level or graduated in the last six months;
· This person must demonstrate advanced SQL skills from the start;
· Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
· Proven track record of taking ownership;
· Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
