Main responsibilities

· Develop new business opportunities in the Package Leisure area by combining existing Amadeus Leisure assets in new and creative ways
· Create business cases and other pitch material to sell a new idea internally as well as win first pilot customers
· Securing and expanding of our turnover and growth objectives
· Comprehensively take care of the specific needs and interests of strategically important customers and represent these clients and their requirements at Traveltainment/Amadeus. As the interface of these customers to the company, you ensure a clear responsibility and a coordinated customer contact
· Run new market/segment and customer evaluations, fit/no fit evaluations, contribute to go-to market strategies
· Strategic acquisition of new customers as well as expansion of existing customer relationships
· Responsibility for end-to-end sales process (acquisition, RFP/RFIs handling, offer preparation, presentation, customer service, consultation, negotiation, closure) of complex system solutions to major customers in tourism
· Develop customized account and business plans for each client, if applicable in close cooperation with Amadeus counterparts
· Support business case creation and validations
· Active participation in diverse IT projects
· In cooperation with the technical account and product management teams as well as the Amadeus colleagues you always find the best solution for your customers

Requirements

· Successfully completed studies in economics , business administration or informatics or a respective training
· Analytical, strategic, organisational and entrepreneurial thinking as well as strong negotiation skills
· 3-5 years of practical experience in e-commerce and/or international projects , ideally in the travel industry
· Familiar with current offline, online and mobile travel technology trends and the success factors of a multi-channel distribution strategy
· Team-oriented, yet self-sufficient and proactive working method as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
· Experiences with working in virtual teams round off your profile
· You are fluent in business English , every additional European language is a major plus
