Team Description:
Amadeus Revenue Accounting application is a solution provided to airlines to manage their financial operations as well as offering them a mean to track and monitor revenue, and to ensure that the money due to the airline is collected quickly and accurately, and that invoicing and payments are correctly managed between the airline and its distribution channel, or with other airline partners. The application enables, prior to flight departure and in real-time, a close monitoring of the expected flight revenue.
 
After successful implementation of 1st launch partner, Saudia Airlines, next big challenge for Revenue Accounting is to deliver the solution for new customers.
The functional solution is built in close relationship with our clients while proposing major innovations compared to existing products.
Revenue Accounting is integrated to Amadeus Altea suite including IT solutions for reservation, Inventory, Ticketing, Pricing, Departure products, and allowing working closely with these other divisions in Amadeus.
 
Main Responsibilities:
In addition to the payment of sales commission on to travel agencies calculated at market level, airlines provide another type of remuneration to some agents, based on objectives linked to travelled revenue. This module is currently up and running for Saudia Airlines customer.
This module allows the airline to define incentive rules driving when and how these retroactive payments are calculated and paid.
The trainee will participate in the evaluation and prototyping of an interface web portal dedicated to the travel agencies (the current solution propose incentive rules monitoring from airline end only)
This portal should allow a given travel agency to access and monitor commission/ incentive rules agreements defined for a specific airline.
Main functionalities should include:
    • Contracts management
- management of specific reference data linked to agency
- manage current and future contracts to be signed between travel agency and airline
 
    • Incentive rules management
- view incentive rules defined for this agency, with associated contracts
- monitor current progress for the active rules
- forecast the due incentive at the end of defined period
 
    • Bills/ Reporting
- view/ download aggregated or detailed (coupon level) reports (bills) of past and current commission and incentives due to the travel agent
- view/ download aggregated or detailed (coupon level) report (graphical) of commission/ incentives and flown revenue generated to the airline.
 
A specific security access management to this portal for travel agencies will have to be studied.

Programming Skills:
    •  Linux, C++, Object Oriented, Knowledge of HTML, XML.
    • Knowledge of following technologies is a plus:
    •  Open-Source web frameworks: Google AngularJS, Twitter Bootstrap, Apache Cordova
    •  JavaScript front-end: NodeJS, NPM, Yeoman
    •  JSON API: documentation with Swagger
    •  Test-driven development
