Amadeus is a world leader in providing IT solutions for the whole travel industry, from initial search to making a booking, from pricing to ticketing, from managing reservations to managing check-in and departure processes.

The intern will be welcomed in the business analyst team, mainly in charge of:

· Looking for all travel solutions when a search request is done (can be from an airline website, a travel agency website, a travel solution comparator …)
· Computing the seat availability based on the real availability and the customization done by the airlines and travel agencies

This is the heart of Amadeus, supporting millions of requests every seconds, based on powerful algorithms to find the best travel solutions.

Main Responsibilities

More and more tourists want to be “responsible travellers” and many travel agencies are focussed on this area.

This encompasses:

· Eco-tourism
· Social and economic impacts of the traveller
•
The trainee will help the team to define all the criteria that can make a traveller choosing a destination: direct flights, type of aircraft, green attitude of the airline company/country, does the destination country care about animal rights…

Then, he/she will have to integrate his/her findings in our search algorithm. This could be by sorting the travel solutions, giving a score to them, do some filtering ….
