Automatic dependent surveillance – broadcast (ADS–B) is a technology in which an aircraft transmits its GPS position to antennas that are listening to the corresponding frequency. ADS-B is part of the next generation traffic control systems, and is currently widely adopted by the airline industry. The technology is used by sites such as flightradar24.com to display flights in real time on a map. Amadeus is exploring the possibilities to use real time flight positions in combination with the vast amount of travel related data that the Amadeus system possesses.

The goal of this specific internship is to add real time tracking of passengers in the corporate travel area. Some initial work has been done, and the internship is to help the team tocontinue to innovate and add new features to what we have done so far. Some obvious features would be:

· Display the flights of all business travellers that a company has at any given time on a map.
· Be able to predict whether the traveller will be late to a meeting.
· Notify corporate travellers of colleagues that will be on the same flight, or in the same airport at the same time.

The intern will integrate a group that is working together to innovate on the real time area. Within the project there will be the opportunity to use the latest front and backend technologies, as well as hardware (Raspberry Pi, ADS-B antenna). The intern will participate in following activities:

· Participate in defining the scope of the corporate travel radar project. There will be great freedom and opportunity to innovate on the topic.
· Implement a working prototype.
· Present the prototype to stakeholders within Amadeus.
