Major Responsibilities:

Team Description
Within the Airport IT division, the Operations Research team is in charge of prototyping and industrializing the data science and analytics features of Amadeus Airport IT application portfolio.
Due to the rather prospective nature of this area, a significant part of the team’s activity is rather exploratory and consists in trying and testing different innovation or ideas in the field of analytics and data science to assess both their technical feasibility and business viability.
 
Main Responsibilities
The trainee/ apprentice will participate in following activities:
- Use predictive modeling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structure and unstructured data.
- Assist the team to develop software, algorithms and applications to apply mathematics to data, perform large scale experimentation and build data driven airport application aiming at translating data into intelligence to solve a variety of problems.
More specifically:
    • Gather and analyze data
    • Identify key prediction problems and propose innovating solutions
    • Build and improve Prediction Models
    • Report, visualize and communicate results
    • Contribute to the exploration and creation of new scientific understanding (monitoring, new metrics)

Profil recherché

Requirements:

Technologies: Statistical tools (such as R), Scripting language (Such as Python), development (Java Script and Java basics are a plus)
Skills: Operations Research, Machine Learning, Statistics, Data exploration, good communication skills is a plus
Education: Last year of engineering degree
