Team Description

The job take a place in the Travel Intelligence department. Travel Intelligence in a new business with Amadeus to deal with all business intelligence queries and solutions. The team offer many BI solution and products as well and standard data services where this job is initially offered.

Supporting Data requests and solving queries from any external customer of Amadeus and occasional support for internal staff.

Main Responsibilities

Managing and dealing with specific and Varied requests for Data from mainly external customers. Some work will involve dealing with internal requests.

Producing ad’hoc or standard reporting for paying customers on any activity within Amadeus that is recorded in our database.

Responding knowledgably to any query either passing it on to the right team or dealing with specifically

The intern will take over some data services responsibilities as well working on small projects in the team to advance the process and management of all activities within the team.

A number of specific task will be assigned to the successful candidate.

The candidate will participate in a number of small projects relating to data services as well the ongoing activities in the team.

Activities will empower the candidiate to develop new solutions, serve existing solutions, document the activity and assist in the smooth running of the work assigned

Requirements

Educated to Degree level in a scientific or marketing discipline with some technical element to allow basic understanding of our data and to answer customer needs. 

Knowledge of data mining and general database technology and preferably SQL and knowledge other Business intelligence reporting tools is a bonus.

The candidate must have good communication and presentation skills, work in a team and also needs have some degree of independence to work on specific requests.
