Job description

Within Travel Channels, TCO (Travel Channels Customer Operations) unites all world-wide activities related to transversal product management, delivery services and customer services, therefore playing a key role in all the steps of the customer relationship: from the acquisition of the customer (Product Management / Construction Domains), to adoption (Delivery) and then retention (Customer Services).

In Delivery Services (TDS), we are responsible for the implementation of the Amadeus Solutions, as well as the Consulting and Program management for our Travel Channels customers. We aim to design the right level of serviceability for these solutions and industrialize our delivery practice worldwide in order to meet segments’ pipeline objectives.



The Delivery Services group is composed of the following entities: 4 Delivery Segments, mapping the customer segments (Retail, Online, Business Travel and Corporations), 4 Delivery Domains which are our poles of expertise, and 1 transversal team.

Main Accountabilities

Participate to the delivery session of the new version of SeCo and Cytric , as well as new development from Development teams with strong focus on testability in the eco system environment of a set of customers.

Interface with relevant departments to identify interaction with other Amadeus packages and assure functional compatibility.

Interface with Application Development and Product Management teams to maintain and extend functional knowledge in order to permit test scripts design and maintenance of applications

Organise meeting with development and product definition in order to determine the configuration, set-up, methods and tools needed to perform the test of the functionality.

Interface with relevant departments to identify interaction with other Amadeus packages and ensure functional compatibility, risks and dependencies.

Build test plans and review it with Development team and PDEF teams.

Reviewing requirements for testability, traceability(matrix coverage)

Scripts creation and execution based on customer requirements and specification.

Creation and execution of Test plans based on customer configurations and specificities.

Follow-up of defects opened during the test validation.

Participate to different meetings during the validation cycle: Integration meetings, defect triage meetings, preproduction meetings.

Recording and Monitoring of test results within ALM

Ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity, and perform functional sign off.

Ensure production integrity by validating and prioritizing reported problems prior to production load.

Ensure execution and analysis of tests and give final approval for load to Production.

Maintain, improve and plan the evolution of test scripts and scenarios.

Define the test coverage for automation

Validation of new features in scrum methodology or V cycle..

Education

University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Fluent English

ISTQB certification is a plus

Functional Skills

Curiosity, willing to go deeper in the tests and learn the eco system of a set of main customers to ensure no issues will be detected by the customers.

Willing to learn complex products and interactions with eco system of the main customers

Ability to manage Test processes

Good knowledge of reservations applications and SECO or CYTRIC/AeTM front-end is a plus

Knowledge of Test tool

Good understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards

Other Global Distribution System knowledge is a plus

Technical Skills

Knowledge of Global Distribution System (Amadeus),

ALM (HP) is a plus

Selenium scripts , python is a plus

Due to the complexity of our application, it makes very challenging to extensively ensure a good quality of the product we are delivering to our customer. In the context of Travel channel delivery, the department Eco system validation has been created and its mission will be:

As the voice of the customer we must ensure the quality level of our products we deliver by constantly increasing business knowledge, as well as defining the automated test coverage ensuring the End to End non-regression coverage is as close as possible to our customer configurations and flows.

Moreover, making sure that upon a new release of front-end, we will not jeopardize the eco system of our customers in the segments retail, Business Travel Agent, Corporation, Online Travel Agent and Web services is a must.
