Business environment

The mission of RTE Team is the following:

· Ensure the detection of functional regression before the deployment of new releases
· Provide support services to EDS teams in their Tests projects (tools, methodology)

This service is provided to EDS Solution teams and must cover the various technologies used (Siebel, SAP, Web….)

RTE Team receives manual test cases from Solution teams and work with them in order to harmonize and standardize the regression tests strategy and methodology.

In the context of the transformation programs of DTS (GFT/OtC/IPPM), the team will also be involved in the construction of the new regression tests scenarios of these new processes/ new technologies (SAP S/4 HANA/ SAP Hybris suite)

Purpose

Develop, execute and maintain software test scenarios, with the aim of keeping the software at expected quality level. Accountable for Regression test strategy implementation.

Develop Execute & Maintain the RTE Automation Framework.

Key accountabilities

· Review the manual test cases provided by our business partners and improve them in order to be compliant with EDS agreed regression tests strategy
· Develop automated test cases: Handle the automation of the manual Regression test cases, using corporate tools (Application Life Cycle Management, Unified Functional Testing, Business Process Testing, Test Accelerator Optimization, ITAS) and maintain the automated scripts
· Handle regression test campaigns:
· Prepare test environment and test data
· Prepare the campaigns, using HP ALM Tool (Test Lab modules)
· Run the scenarios and perform the analysis of the defects founds with the support of Solution Teams
· Provide go/no-go for the load to production
· Provide support on the Framework evolution:
· Handle the development of Components (SAP Gui, SAP Portal, SAP Fiori, Siebel OpenUI, Web UI5, …)
· Provide support on existing Components usage, and methodology for QRT QA testers
· Participate to the technical feasibility of new streams
· Support on Technical Upgrades (UFT, ALM, TAO, CBTA, ITAS, …)
· Technological watch on the existing solutions and Third parties offers
· Functional knowledge of SAP/Siebel is a plus
