Team Description

The team ERP (E-retail & Personalisation) is developing the User Interface of the eRetail product which is a generic booking web site for airlines.

In addition, the team is responsible for the customization engine that is allowing airlines to push dedicated content on their web site. The customers are then the airlines with their representative implementation team within Amadeus.

Main Responsibilities:

Amadeus airline IT portfolio contains multiple products for airline customers.

The goal of the intership is to help the team to work on the existing web portal presenting these products.

This web portal has two main goals: be an external showcase of Amadeus digital products for airline customers and developers but also to be an internal documentation and playground tool of these products.

The live playground allows developers editing and running code snippets directly from their web browser, to encourage exploration of the product.

The goal of the intership isparticipateto following tasks:

- It must be accessible externally through logins in accordance with Amadeus security standards and Amadeus architecture. It must be open for use internally without login.

- The development or the integration of an existing WYSIWYG is required to edit the content of the portal which should be ergonomic and easy to use.

- The intern will actively participate to the evolution of this web portal, it’s deployment and the definition of the additional future content.

- In addition, an analytics solution must be implemented to track the use of this portal.

Below is the list of identified requirements for the portal:

· It allows an easy access and search the documentation and samples.
· The content editor should be integrated and user-friendly for people with no IT skills.
· It has to be deployed in accordance with Amadeus security standards.
· It is accessible externally via login.
· It is open for use internally without login.
· The existing live playground needs to be enhanced .
· It provides an analytics solution to understand the site actual usage and necessary improvements
· It must contain a monitoring and alert solution to alert operation teams of any incident

Requirements

IT skills

· Good knowledge and experience with complex architechtures.
· Knowledge of web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
· Good experience with NodeJS server, Java and Grunt tasks
· Theoretical knowledge about API conception is appreciated.
· Knowledge about deployment processes, problematics and automation tools (maven, ant).
· Knowledge about authentication protocols is wished (such LDAP).

Soft skills

· Pragmatic, resourceful, creative and able to get tasks completed.
· Active in communication and information finding.
· English spoken and written is mandatory
