Team description:

Amadeus security department develops applications to provide reliable solutions for authentication and access control for Amadeus products.

Our access control model is RBAC, it grants consumers at different levels e.g. organizations, offices, users with access rights to Amadeus’ applications. In the Sustaining On Security team, we provide the stability of the components, we also do investigation then fix of issues. We are looking for creative and strong solutions to complement the tools that currently we have and that help to visualize and provide accurate fixes to frequent problems.

Main responsibilities:

The goal of the internship is to help the team toprovide troubleshooting tools to ease the day-to-day work of the maintenance engineers by automating recurring and manual checks.

The intern will first get familiar with Amadeus products and security model. Then s/he will discuss with the maintenance engineers to collect their pain points and needs. Thanks to this analysis, the intern will participate in designing a tool (specification phase) then implementing it (development phase).

Among the functionalities already identified as candidate for the tool:

· provide sanity checks on a given user
· check if cache files are correctly replicated across all systems
· compare data across environments (production, test systems, …)

The tool should be very visual, to highlight hotspots.
