Team Description:

The internship will take place in the System & Application Security department of Amadeus, in a young and multi-cultural team of 25 persons with 11 different nationalities.

The main activity of the department is to develop an authentication, access control and security administration solution deployed within all the Amadeus products.

Amadeus is the leader in technology solutions for the global travel and tourism industry and the largest transaction processor. Its data center handles up to 1 billion transactions/day.

Subject:

The login and password concepts for an authenticationare becoming more and more obsolete. The goal of this internship is to strengthen authentication through innovative means: Point n Click Authentication (PnCA).

The PnCA is based on an image where clickable objects are placed. The combination of some of these objects representsa visual identity than can be used as a 'password'. Each time the image is displayed to a user, the objects are notset at the same place in the image.

The authentication succeeds if the objects are selected in thesame order as the one stored at user level.

Thevisual identitypolicy should be flexible and some options should be integrated to the solution:

- Minimum number of objects to select

- Order is important

-Visual Identity expiry date

- Change Visual Identity
