Business Environment

The past acquisitions of key players (New Market International, Itesso…), the ongoing strategic partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group (one of top 5 world’s largest hotel chain, with more than 5,300 hotels, and 790,000 rooms, across nearly 100 countries) currently being migrated to our Hotel Central Reservation System and the recent signaturewith Premier Inn (UK's largest hotel brand) for an integrated Central Reservation System, Property Management Systemand Payment Systemillustrate the ambitious objective of Amadeus to change the picture of Hospitality industry with a modular yet tightly integrated end-to-end solution based on a community model.

Purpose

Time has come for hotel business to do its revolution! Joining Amadeus with this internship will allow you to be an active actor of this transformation.

Why? Traditional hotel business is being challenged by hosts renting their own properties directly to travellers with competitive rates. On the other hand, travellers have less and less warranty on the accommodation quality as every property has its own brand.

Is there any Win-Win solution? Let’s imagine a world where a hotel can put to rent nearby individuals’ properties to his clients!

How? Joining hotel configuration and inventory team, you will be studying, suggesting and prototyping a new model for hotel industry in order to:

· Enable the hotels to define a set of requirements to be fulfilled to open this feature for local hosts and be guaranteed by hotel brands.
· Suggest an enrolment mechanism for local hosts to add their properties to the hotel inventory.
· Design a model that takes into account the complexity and the variety that brings the introduction of individual properties into traditional hotel inventory.
· Prototype the solution.

To achieve this goal, you will be working in agile team, and closely with your mentor. You will be encouraged to study, explore, try, compare, demonstrate and share your findings with the rest of the group.

Last year of university bachelor degree in Computer Science
