Business Environment

The past acquisitions of key players (New Market International, Itesso…), the ongoing strategic partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group (world’s largest hotel chain 4,700 hotels, 687,000 rooms, across nearly 100 countries) currently being migrated to our Hotel Central Reservation System and the recent signaturewith Premier Inn (UK's largest hotel brand) for an integrated Central Reservation System, Property Management Systemand Payment Systemillustrate the ambitious objective of Amadeus to change the picture of Hospitality industry with a modular yet tightly integrated end-to-end solution based on a community model.

Personalization is a concept that lies at the very heart of the hotel industry and Amadeus solutions: the art of making people feel at home.

Hoteliers are investing money to welcome their guests in comfortable, luxury or convenient sleeping rooms.

Size of the room, view, type of bed, floor, distance from the elevator … : you may not want the same thing depending on your personal tastes but also the context of you trip. Are you traveling for business, for leisure, alone or as a couple, family or in a group ?

The challenge consists in buildingsolutions capable of determining the right tailored offer (e.g. Deluxe room with sea view) among thousands of possible ones.

Purpose

Embedded in the hotel inventory team, you will have to study and apply the more recent technics to prototype the next generation of Cloud based hotel availability module.

Your solution must compute the availability of several thousands of possible offers in a few milliseconds.

Working in Agile and closely with your mentor you will be encouraged to study, explore, try, compare, demonstrate and share with the rest of the group.

· Perform demos to various stakeholders and get feedback
