Team description

The DGA division of Amadeus provides airlines with a variety of IT solutions for websites, call centers, self-service check-in on the web and at airport kiosks. On the e-commerce side, e-Retail is a customizable reservation system on which travellers can make bookings; it is the world's most widely used integrated airline Internet Booking Engine (IBE), used by 100+ airlines.

Within DGA, the QA department is in charge of the functional validation of the products and provides technical solutions to automate and mock end-to-end tests.

Main responsibilities

The goal of the internship is to build a portal that automatically retrieves data from different sources, display them as KPI charts and administrate them. A KPI is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a team is achieving key objectives and reaching targets. Example of KPI required (non-exhaustive): trend charts showing tests and mocks stability.

The main responsibilities of the intern will be to:

· Collect detailed requirements from his tutor and QA department
· Analyze the start of the art, from the market and from Amadeus
· Use/customize an existing product and/or implement an application or adds-on able to:
· Connect to several data sources (e.g. Jira, Jenkins, internal Amadeus defect tool)
· Create and store KPIs
· Manage KPI files (add, remove, update) through an administration interface

Create documentation: functional specifications, user guide and technical specifications describing the solution selected.

· Good knowledge in scripting and/or web technologies, e.g. JAVA, Python, SQL
