Context

The internship will take place in the Front Office and Reservation (FOR) Division. This division is responsible for developing and deploying web-based applications for corporations (self-booking tools) and travel agencies.

The Quality and Delivery Services department of Amadeus is responsible for the quality and the deployment of the application on customer facing environments. It covers as well test automation, methodology and tooling.

In this context, the ANR team is responsible for the test automation of manual tests, their execution as well as providing support and best practices around the test automation.

Scope

Main Responsibilities

Continuous integration is a daily challenge for every one of us. Our engineers have to make sure that their change will not impact our customers. This is regression testing.

When a test is failing, QA engineers are reading logs written by the tests and the ones on the platform being tested to understand where the problem came from raise a ticket with proper attachments.

To get into a more massive model, you will need to understand the criteria that makes QA engineers open tickets, build a system that automates this action.

The system/tool you will build will propose some tickets to the QA engineers that will take the final call.

You will base your system upon a knowledge base in order to learn from previous decisions and avoid creating duplicates.

The system will be plugged on an Amadeus internal ticket tool: Win@proach

Main Requirements

Knowledgein UML, Java/Groovy, JavaScript, SQL and SQL database knowledge.

Good Communications skills

A basic knowledge of Jenkins and Maven would be appreciated.
