Business Environment

The Digital Design Services department (DDS) within Services and Ecosystem division (SEE) is in charge of delivering e-commerce services around Amadeus products.

Inside this department the mission of the E-commerce Implementation team (IMP)is to support customer in the integration of Amadeus e-Retail products, in its new flavor DX for e-commerce and Merci for mobile.

Current customer base has more than 80 airlines which get e-retail features implemented via the Site Manager tool.

We are working in a very dynamic area, with 10 new airlines implemented every year.

Purpose

Part of an implementation team, you will be deeply interacting with customers.

As implementation engineer you will be assigned to one or several airlines to be dedicated point of contact (POC), this allows you to be fully knowledgeable of any setup / request of an airline. You will also be assigned a functional area where you will be the functional point of contact for the overall implementation teams cross-sites.

Implementation job consists in understanding customer requirements, setting-up e-commerce or mobile solution, guide and accompany airlines during implementation project. Amadeus e-Retail solutions (e-commerce and mobile) are defined with flex pricer, payment, ticketing issuance , reissuance, refund, merchandising, ancillary services, car/ hotel/insurance and mobile solution. Defining a digital solution web or mobile for an airline consists of assembling all those products to defined a coherent solution. e-Retail features are implemented using the Site Manager tool. On top of the generation capability of the Site Manager, implementation teams may customize web sites via specific CSS or JavaScript for HTML deliveries. The activity requires a good functional knowledge as well as good front end customization skills (CSS/JS)

In this position you will be handling several projects in parallel. Part of this position is to deliver them on track and within budget.

The group is spread over three geographical locations, Nice, Boston and Bangalore. Possible transfer to those sites is possible when enough experience acquired.

Key Accountabilities

Analyse customer systems and service requirements.

Identify specific actions necessary to integrate Amadeus products/services.

Establish and manage the product/solution integration schedule.

Determine and document adaptations to Amadeus products and services.

Write functional specifications used for customisation and/or verify that specifications reflect customer requirements.

Guarantee that customised products/solutions meet specified requirements.

Perform the necessary tests on the customized solution before it is delivered to the customer.

Provide functional support and problem resolution to sales and/or customer functional staff.

Support project activities during the implementation

Education:

University degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience

English (Fluent - We are an international business, our business environment is primarlythrough English)

Technical Skills:

HTML5/CSS3, Web 2.0,
