Purpose of the Role
Analyse customer requirements, then setup the customer web site or mobile app using e-Retail product, the Site Manager tool and the Amadeus UI Customization Service (SDK). Accompany the customers and any third-party involved to achieve their website customisation.
This specific position is opened for on-site customer support in Bogota, with the majority of the team members and the management based in Boston.

The Digital for Airlines (DGA) department is part of the Amadeus Digital division and is in charge of delivering e-Commerce services around Amadeus products. The mission of the Digital Implementation group is to support airline customers in the integration of Amadeus e-Commerce products for their online web sites using e-Retail Digital eXperience (DX). Amadeus e-Retail solutions include integration of FlexPricer, payment, ticketing issuance, reissuance, refund, ancillary services, car/hotel/insurance and mobile solution (DX responsive). The current customer base has more than 80 airlines which get e-Retail features implemented via an admin UI tool, Site Manager. On top of the generation capabilities of Site Manager, the implementation teams may customize web sites via specific CSS/JavaScript/Java code for fully custom layout and behavior of individual product pages. The group is regionalized with three main R&D hubs: Nice, Bangalore and Boston.

Main Responsibilities

· Analyze customer systems and service requirements.
· Identify specific actions necessary to integrate e-Commerce products/services in the customer's ecosystem.
· Establish and manage the product/solution integration schedule.
· Determine and document adaptations to Amadeus products and services.
· Write functional integration documents used for customization and/or verify that the documentation reflects customer requirements.
· Guarantee that customized products/solutions meet specified requirements.
· Support solutioning activities through presentation and documentation of product/solution integration.
· Technical, functional, business and commercial awareness.
· Work independently and have significant latitude to solve problems.
· For existing airline web sites, maintain good customer satisfaction through regular evolution activity and excellent production support services, including supporting Help Desk (a.k.a. Service Management Center) for efficient issue resolution.
· Be the first-level functional and technical entry point for the customer (e.g.: Avianca) in relation with the design, the customization and the implementation of the digital touchpoints.
· Regularly collect and review requirements with the customer and the Amadeus internal stakeholders (DGA and Extended Account Team).
· Develop in-depth knowledge of the customer solutions (Amadeus and third parties) to ensure a good adequacy of the proposed solutions with the customer requirements together with the Solution Manager.
· Contribute to the User Acceptance Tests.
· Provide support to Amadeus commercial team in reinforcing customer’s relationship with Agile best practices.
· Customize airline web sites using the e-Retail advanced customization environment, based on Aria Template or Angular.
· Understand UI customization requirements and qualify them.
· Write functional specifications used for customization.
· Develop, test and deliver customization code following quality and coding guidelines, including unit testing and code review.

Education

University degree in Business, Marketing or Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Technology certifications in Java, Angular, .Net or MS SQL are a plus.

Work experience

· Professional experience in customer-facing role (operational and on-site in customer premises) of two years minimum
· Amadeus e-Retail Booking Engine knowledge and experience in Angular or Aria Templateis a plus
· Amadeus Altea suite functional knowledge is a plus ie FlexPricer, payment, ticketing, ancillary services, car/ hotel/insurance and mobile solution
· 3 years of professional experience in web development using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Web 2.0.
· Experience in the integration of large scale systems with Digital components is recommended
· Automated testing and use of client-side frameworks
· Experience with GIT, JIRA

Languages

Spanish and English fluency required; French/Portuguese a plus
