Team Description

Global Business Services (GBS) supports Amadeus in doing business better: It provides best-in-class shared global business services to Amadeus. Our mission is to understand internal partner requirements and deliver reliable integrated and cost efficient solutions to automate, support and monitor Amadeus processes (aka AmaMeth - Amadeus Methodology).

The trainee will be integrated within the GBS Corporate Integration team (IMB) unit in Amadeus: He/She will be coached during the whole internship period by the central Integration, MDM and Business Process team, and will work closely in Agile with the Enterprise Architecture and the other GBS Solutions teams.

Main Responsabilities

As part of its activities, the team is continuously looking for new solutions to ease, reuse and industrialize the Integration practices and Web Services across GBS internal and external Solutions. In this context, the trainee will execute already initiated SOA Governance (promote Corporate Service Registry) and contribute to the Integration Community (contribute workshops with other GBS Solution teams to identify synergies in Integration Services need, design and implement Integration services based on BPEL 2.0 standard using Oracle SOA software package).

Thanks to strong IT skills and expertise of Amadeus team, trainee will be able to have a fast learning curve. Trainee will thus be able to identify and propose reusable SOA oriented integrations and patterns (pull, Messaging) to other most important applications (Sharepoint, SAP, EBX, legacy applications, CRM Siebel, Changepoint, MS Exchange, etc).

On top of IT skills, the capacity to capture, argue and present on the added value of the solution designs whilst understanding the Amadeus context and constraint will be much appreciated.

Requirements

Engineering School or University degree/ Science in computer science

Good English level

Dynamism, communication & presentation skill

Microsoft Windows and Linux

Programming: Oracle SOA (BPEL), Java

Databases: Oracle 11

Communication Protocols & Standards: XML, CSS, Web Services (SOAP, REST)

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
