About the organisation – Provider Offer Management (POM)

Provider Offer Management will establish the strategy to identify, acquire and deliver relevant content for Travel Channels segments via Amadeus’ provider units or via 3rd parties. POM will align our business models and commercial goals with provider unit commercial strategies across air, hotel, rail, ‘land and sea’ and other travel providers. POM will monitor, benchmark and promote our content; drive adoption initiatives in strategic areas and manage transversal marketing activities across Travel Channels.

About the department – Travel Channels Commercial Governance and Content Monitoring

The department will deploy commercial policies across Travel Channels and manage processes and systems to ensure business model adoption in Travel channels and alignment with provider units across all segments. They will monitor and market our content, benchmarking it, and our commercial performance, vs competitors. Finally they will manage Travel Channels transversal marketing activities.

About the team – Content Value Proposition & Knowledge Management

This team is responsible for providing the necessary elements to empower Travel Channels’ commercial units, allowing them to meet their sales objectives through consistent processes. The POM KM function will sit in this team, comprised of the Knowledge Manager and Knowledge Management Specialist to include the 6-month full time intern. The main objective of the POM KM function is to contribute to efficiency and increased productivity to the POM organisation. Using the Amadeus Opera intranet to build, create and manage all of POM’s SharePoint sites, specifically the knowledge centres to support learning and knowledge sharing across Travel Channels and all its stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

· Participate in the collection and sharing of existing knowledge assets, understanding needs for knowledge sharing within Provider Offer Management (POM) Business Unit and identifying knowledge gaps for POM
· Set-up the knowledge sharing methods and tools for POM such as: academies, forums, learning sessions, knowledge cafes, webinars, conferences, face to face meetings, collaborative tools, shared repositories, others
· Coordinate maintenance (accuracy & relevance) of the knowledge assets from content owners shared through the collaborative platform
· Participate inthe implementation of communication plans promoting the initiatives performed
· Identify and analyse best practices, from internal and external sources, that could be replicated for POM
· Apply Corporate guidelines/recommendations/standards to POM’s needs
· Measure quality indicators for POM, support creation and regular update of dashboards (Sites and KM /Communication initiatives)
· Participate in the following activities: briefs, project planning, project follow-up, closure and lessons learned

Requirements

Education & Background
Internal Communication - Marketing Communication student
Graduate Management / Business Management school

Languages
Fluent in spoken and specifically written English – a must!
Other languages, a plus

IT Skills

Must have advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Experience and familiarity with SharePoint technology
Web design & HTML language a plus

Photoshop or other Picture Editor a plus
At ease with technology

Personal Skills
Quick learner and/or desire to learn

Outgoing (extrovert) – comfortable with people

Excellent oral and written communication skills (specifically in English – Amadeus official language)
Good relational skills, team spirit
Interest in a multicultural experience
Attention to detail – a must!
Good understanding and interest in Social Media and all current modes of communications
Ability to take initiatives
