ANDROID DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Job description

General information:
As an Android Developer in a team located in Prague, you will design, build and deliver applications that secure the digital lives of millions of people. We are delivering SDKs and apps that are related to Mobile payments, Mobile banking and Mobile identity. Main customers of Prague team are banks, mobile operators and governments in Europe, Middle-east, North and South America.
What awaits you:
- You will participate in the design, architecture, implementation and testing of libraries and apps
- You will ensure application development choices are made according to customer expectations.
- You will assess security risks of mobile solutions by identifying assets, attackers and relevant mitigations.
- You will be able to show initiative and propose applications or concepts adding value to our offers.
To succeed at this job, you must have:
- Experience in mobile applications development on Android and/or iOS
- Excellent programming skills and object-oriented design
- Strong interest in mobile application ecosystems
- Ability to communicate with people, also in English language
It would be preferred if you have:
- experience with API design, client-server communication
- continuous integration and build automation
- unit/function/system testing experience
- a Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Information systems / security or IT related domain
- at least 5 years of experience in software development including a minimum of 2 years in mobile technology development
