Description – Internal

The Train simulation trainee will learn:

Creation of Alstom libraries: component models, sub-system models, etc…

Creation of different level of sub-system models (complex and simplified)

Validation of models (component & sub-system) based on specification / real tests

Creation of train level model and validation

Tuning of test control laws to optimize criteria

Analysis of impact in case of change in the train architecture

Extraction of results in order to analyze the mission profiles of the components, sub-systems or train

Creation of ageing models for Maintenance

Simulation and co-simulations are done with Dymola, Matlab and other Alstom software as Simpack, Cithel, etc.

Preparation, analysis and interpretation of REX results, to improve our libraries

His/Her responsibilities :

Become the Multiphysics referent back in BGL

Qualifications - Internal

Past experience in engineering design (more than two years appreciated)

General background on mechanical or electrical field

Comfortable with simulation tools (for example Dymola, Matlab, …)

Critical spirit, autonomy, physical sense for results analysis

Optimization methodology and tools

Good communication skills, pro-activiy, team working

Language:

English conversational/ writing/ reading advanced level

French spoken appreciated
