We are looking for two experienced Test & Commissioning Engineers

Alstom is currently looking for two Test & Commissioning Engineers for the NTL project (National Traffic Management System) who will start with preparing and executing test and commissioning of the NTL system on the customer´s different sites in Sweden. At a later stage the test and commissioning engineer will, as maintenance engineer, become a part of the service organization providing help desk and maintenance to the customer. The position is located in Stockholm but frequent travels inside Sweden to the customer´s different sites are required.

Responsibilities

The work will commence with Test & Commissioning of the NTL/TMS system, i.e. prepare and execute testing and commissioning activities on the customer sites in Sweden. Once the test and commissioning period is over, the role will turn to Maintenance Engineer who will be part of a 24 hours 7/7 Service Organization that is the entry point as the customer´s 3rd line help desk. The Maintenance Engineer shall trace and record all the details about the failures and about the maintenance intervention performed.

The Maintenance Engineer has to clearly align and inform the customer and eventually the Alstom Managers on the failures of the Delivery, on their impact on the commercial service and on the proposed resolution.

The Test & Commissioning / Maintenance Engineer is among others responsible to/ involved in:

·  Have a very good knowledge of all tests described on the procedure, schematics and technical documents.
·  Verify that the testing tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
·  Guarantee the logistic conditions of the mission (technical documents, tools, material, etc.).
·  Replace the defective material and make sure of its repair in the current adherence to procedures.
·  Perform the commissioning, the maintenance, the diagnosis of the failures and the repair of products of NTL/TMS on site according to documents and specifications.
·  During a non-compliance recorded during the phase of commissioning, to make an experience feedback (REX) towards the project. Make the follow-up of this non-compliance up to its closing.
·  Service Desk and Help Desk
·  Corrective, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance for IT equipment
·  Communication with the customer for the execution of Maintenance activities
·  Analyze the diagnostic system with respect to the failures or the alerts that can occur to the System Delivery
·  Activate the correct process and people for failure resolution in the most efficient way
·  Support and development of the system upon agreement with the customer.

Your profile

Educational Requirements

·  Bachelor Degree or High school diploma (electronic and/or information technology related).
·  Candidate should possess a technical background.

Technical Skills & Competencies

·  Customer service skills
·  Strong attention to details
·  Excellent predisposition to Team work
·  Fluent in Swedish and English.

Desired knowledge/Experience

·  Experience of railway industry (Signalling System, ETCS, ATC Systems…).
·  Experience of Maintenance on critical systems.
·  Experience of IT Systems or of Complex Electronic Systems.
·  Knowledge of the standards concerning the electric and mechanical assemblies
·  Good knowledge of wired network and telecom technologies
·  Background in Test & Integration activities is an asset
·  React positively in an emergency situation
·  Car Driving license
