Join the Tenders and Products Sourcing team and help us in defining the Process & tools as well as the training materials for the pppulation of the Product Sourcing Leaders (in charge to improve the sourcing performance in Quality Cost and Delivery of our outsourced equipments for our  Products), of the Tender Sourcing leaders (in charge to cost and drive the sourcing commitment on our Tenders) , of the Project Sourcing Managers (in charge to drive the Quality Cost and Delivery of our outsourced equipments for each Project).

Manage tender and competitiveness for sourcing WP

For tenders based on RL (type Citadis, Lint, ..)

- Ensure requirements (by gap vs. RL) are provided to Sourcing Domains / Train Sub-Systems and challenged when relevant

- Challenge tender requirements when relevant (promote standardisation or optimum technology)

- Consolidate the sourcing commitment in tender phase and the preliminary supplier list

- Propose ambitions based on Reference Library improvement plans

- Supplier pre-BA (pre-business award), jointly with the Sourcing team and bid team, for the Top5 strategic commodities

- Define a first version of the project sourcing strategy (list of suppliers pre-selected, detailed ambitions per levers, ..) and publish the Tender Reporting Sheet for validation

For tenders for new products

- On the preliminary design, and based on the TSS cost and technical expertise, identify the cost drivers on the main sub-systems requirements and challenge accordingly the product architecture or definition

- Assess, jointly with the tender team, the opportunity and risk related to early agreements with suppliers, taking into REX of similar experiences

- Build robust cost assumption on B&C items, according to proven models

- Consolidate the sourcing commitment in tender phase and the preliminary supplier list

- Define tender sourcing strategy, detail the saving plan

For tenders requesting sourcing localisation on specific areas (type LRV Nam, PRASA,..)

- Collect the details on the local network of companies involved in Railways business (or close to Rw business)

- Manage the relation with the suppliers (RFQ, Q/A cessions, feed-back on offers), jointly with the global Sourcing organisation

- Produce business case to demonstrate interest for localisation vs. of shore solution. Push for derogation analysis by Technical team if it is necessary to maximise local content

- Keep up-dated KPIs on the localisation progress

- Get real time information about competitors progress / intentions / behaviours

- Organise SC / SQD assessment as necessary
