Withing Central Engineering, the Train Sub System Department, we are looking for a Sub System Engineer

Your mission:

Purpose of the Job

·  All Projects: supervises and validates sub-system selection
·  Project he is in charge of: manages project development with supplier and customer (TSE-TDE-TCE
·  Product development: Adds products to the catalogue (development with suppliers)

Responsibilities:

Project Engineering

General:

·  Prepares DR with suppliers (sub-system/product level) or with TSE (train/product integration level)
·  Ensures the quality of the deliverables (TSS E & Suppliers)
·  Manages the technical Sub-System PSLI/RAMP
·  Ensures that standard key design rules are applied with Platform and Sourcing colleagues.
·  Reports the progress of the project (meetings, weekly/regular report)

Tender Phase:

·  Analyses customers (intern/final) requirements (CbC) & performs, with BTM/TSE, Gap analysis vs ref. lib.
·  Assists BTM/TSE in filling in “Entry “connector” and issues Exit “connector” (Connector RSAD0)
·  Defines jointly with various organizations (TSE, Bogie, Traction, TCMS) the relevant product
·  Writes the Technical Purchasing Specification (TPS0 - Short Specification) when needed
·  Drives the supplier technical proposals
·  Analyses the suppliers offers together with Sourcing
·  Calculates the Engineering budgetPrepares the sub system technical commitment and Business Award
·  Issues the technical description of the solution proposed to the Customer

Project Phase till SGR:      

·  Assists TSE in filling in “Entry “connector” and issues Exit “connector” (Connector RSAD1).Confirms jointly with various organizations (TSE, Bogie, Traction, TCMS) the relevant product Reviews
·  Assists TSE in filling RSAD2 entry data and issues RSAD2.
·  Writes the TPS 1 & 2 jointly with Sourcing organization acc. to the last evolutions and to projects progress
·  Drives technical relationships with suppliers with close management of QCD commitments (CbC), risks & validation.
·  Prepares and support Business Award meeting with Sourcing
·  Project Phase from SGR to FAI:       
·  Manages the Technical Changes
·  Manages technical contact (TPS2) until design has been frozen

Project Phase after FAI       

·  Is accountable for installation, tuning on 1st train
·  Is accountable for verification of performance as per RSAD2 on bench, Laborame or train
·  Supports validation and certification (done by CV team)
·  Product Engineering
·  May on demand, manage some R&D Work packagesWhen he is the owner of a TSS E Product/Architecture:
·  Proposes yearly Sustaining Plan for the said Product or Architecture (Second Source, Management of Obsolescence, Redesign to Cost, New development)
·  Drives the plan which has been agreed for the
·  Ensures the catalogue up to date about technical performance and quality performance
·  Collects and formalizes return of experience on solution

Your profile:

Knowledge & Experience

·  Engineer profile is a must
·  General knowledge of the product
·  Knowledge on Engineering tasks to performed
·  Minimum 2 years’ experience on product development
