Purpose of the Job

·  Perform T&C activities during the commissioning of ATC Sub-System
·  Ensures that all of his/her tests are performed in full safe & EHS conditions with calibrated tools.
·  Delivers proper documentations after performing the tests (test books, test reports, anomaly reports

Position in the Organisation

Organisation Structure

The entity which is recruiting is the T&C group for Signalling projects, in charge of the T&C aspects of the RIYADH projects at SLV operation level

Organisational Reporting

Reports hierarchically to the Project Commissioning Manager (PrCOM).

Reports functionally to the ATC T&C Leader.

Network & Links

In support to ATC T&C Leader, to be in interface with other project stakeholders, most important ones are: local partner or sub-contractor and local engineering companies, other Alstom product line T&C representatives, other contractor T&C representatives and in factory the different sources of technical knowledge for site support.

Mission

Objectives

• Be part of the local T&C team on site during T&C stages of the project

• Perform Test and commissioning activities for ATC sub-system

• Support other T&C team during T&C Phases (test with Automatic train control or Automatic train supervision)

• Provide advices and best practices on ATC troubleshooting.

• Provide technical training to the other member of ATC T&C team and/or the customer team.

• Ensure proper technical/troubleshooting documentations are up to date and available for general uses.

Measurement

·  Commissioning on time: defined by Project schedule and daily operational instructions given by the PrCOM, ATC issues reported and fixed on time
·  Quality: no re-test following the site activities / verification to close the Safety Case
·  Customer satisfaction: survey.

Responsibilities

Behavioural

·  Performs all activities of the T&C for the ATC Sub System
·  Interfaces with other T&C teams from other contractors or Alstom product lines.
·  Interfaces with all other sub-systems.
·  Provides support to the ATC T&C leader for the quality management of ATC T&C activities (configuration management of input document, and of Hw and Sw installed on site, anomaly management in close relation with factory, test coverage to ensure no test is forgotten)
·  Ensures that all tests are performed with calibrated test tools
·  Ensures that safety/EHS conditions are gathered at all time for tests to be carried out and permanently brief his team on the importance of this matter.
·  Reports regularly his/her progress to his/her supervisors (managerial and functional)

Technical

·  Prepares and ensures the preparation of all tests procedures necessary to perform the ATC tests.
·  Troubleshoots ATC technical issues during T&C phase

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

·  Technical education (Associate or Bachelor degree) with ATC trackside and onboard equipment T&C background

Desired Knowledge / Experience

·  Ideally 2 years in similar functions (V&V for instance) with previous site experience. Experience in troubleshooting ATC systems.

Leader Skills / Competencies

·  Strong leadership, method and organization, sense of urgency, priority management,  persuasive and team spirit, facilitating relationship, very good listener and ability to convey messages

Technical Skills & Competencies

·  Power distribution cabinets
·  Uninterruptible Power supply cabinets
·  Measurement tools (Multimeters, oscilloscope)
·  Drawings
·  Relays
·  ATC Principles in Urban projects
·  Languages: English (and ideally Arabic)

Job Location : RIYADH, potential trips to Regional Centers for Factory Acceptance Tests or Technical meetings/Trainings
