Your main missions and responsabilities will be to:
Apply and deploy Supplier Quality Assurance requirements in product and process development, serial phase and warranty
in accordance with sourcing and project organisation.
1 – SPQD plans develoment from tender phase till FAI (first article inspection) Go
- is responsisle at tender phase to communicate and validate quality specifications and SPQD plan in anticipation with suppliers
- manages the SQS phase till the Business Award in coordination with sourcing, validate the relevant waivers
- performs SPQD plan by setting-up relevant actions plan all along the product / process development to reach Supplier FAI go on time
- applies the application of the DFQ (design for quality) process and validates each milestones
- if applicable: is responsible to perform the handover with SQA
2 – NCR (non-conformity report) management and supplier perfomance
- Responsible for Non conformity day-to day management, insuring reactivity to inform supplier of NCR, to replace defective parts and to implement containment and temporary actions.
- Animate NCR treatment by setting-up relevant actions plan to reach Supplier NCR target
- Invoice the cost of non quality (Conq S1) to the suppliers
- Organize the supplier retrofit
- Decide quality wall if necessary
- Challenge our suppliers to identify validated root causes of occurence and non-detection
- Challenge our suppliers to reinforce relevant corrective and preventive action plan, challenge reactivity
- Manage warranty issues linked to suppliers (8D under PST module) in collaboration with project warranty responsible
3 – Management, performances and reporting
- Supplier process assessment to check the effectiveness of corrective & preventive action plans and the reliability of control plan substainability (regular follow-up on main suppliers)
- Prepare and monitor supplier Quality review at unit level to shoot the Top issues.
- inform SPQD manager, Sourcing and Industrial and engineering / projects entities about the main issues, increment ROE
- reports about his activity, manages his indicators (exemple visual management)
- propose the escalation of top offenders as Yellow or Red suppliers
- participates in the management of yellow or Red suppliers management
- ensures his required qualifications to have the right level of expertise
4 – Contribute to continuous improvement program
- proposes good practices
- contributes for APSYS roadmap’s SPQD related questions.
Candidate requirements:
- Master degree
- 3 to 5 years experience in SQA , SPQD , Production management, engineering or industrial
- Fluent in English / Able to communicate in French
- Knowledge of quality tools
- Strong communication skills / leadership / persuasive / motivated
- organized and reactive
