Objective

Provides technical expertise and responsibility for the modeling and validation of complex kinematics and the vibration response of railway systems within the projects, R & D or specific analysis.

Responsabilities

·  Responsible for R & D studies and product improvements on dynamic multi-body systems coupling railway dynamics, structural calculations and acoustics.
·  Develops methods, digital tools to complete simulation models
·  Develops methodologies for characterization and validation
·  Complete the models of railway dynamics, bogie or sub-systems by coupling them to super structural elements and to more complex suspension elements linked to high-frequency behavior
·  Performs vibration and transfer function simulations
·  Performs simulations of kinematics, strain and stress calculation at interfaces in addition to calculations already carried out in railway dynamics or using pre-calculation
·  Contributes to the definition of the characteristics of structures and suspension components
·  Ensures the development and validation of products on these same themes
·  Ensures the management of R & D projects and the follow-up of the associated Quality, Costs and Deadlines (QCD) aspects

Profile

Mechanical Engineer

Experience of 2 to 3 years in multi-body dynamic analysis and simulation.

Experience and practice in structural calculations using the Finite Elements method

Knowledge of dynamic rubber behaviour would be an asset

Knowledge of programming languages (Fortran, C ++, VBA, Matlab etc.) is an asset

System Mechanics

Strong mathematical skills

Knowledge in the field of vibration mechanics and signal processing

Knowledge of vehicle dynamics calculations and structures

Autonomy

Spoken and written English required
